Irene drove the Volvo from Selah to Hermiston, a couple hours I guess. She learned to use cruise control, and hauled at 64 mph nicely. Only scary part for her was crossing the bridge at McNary, it's a good thing there wasn't any traffic in the hammer lane, as they'd have been up and over the edge into the Columbia! Well, not really, but she was a little intimidated by the bridge structure and clearance on the right... She'll come in handy to spell me on the long trips to Arizona, Nationals (hopefully!).
